BURKS FALLS, ON- Snow could be on the way for our area.
According to Enviroment Canada, significant snowfall is possible from Thursday evening through to Friday morning for the following areas:
- Bayfield Inlet – Dunchurch
- South River – Burk’s Falls
The snow is part of a low pressure system approaching Ontario from the southwest.
The snowfall may occur Thursday evening and will taper off by Friday afternoon. Snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are possible.
However, there is some uncertainty in the track of this low pressure system and the amount of snowfall. Enviroment Canada is keeping an eye on the system.
They recommend considering postponing non-essential travel.
