BRACEBRIDGE, ON- Police are looking for information after the death of Jean Robinson.
Robinson, full name Margaret Ivy Jane, was a 75 year old resident of Clipsham Road in the Town of Gravenhurst. She went missing after last being seen on Monday evening of this week, and was found deceased yesterday evening after an intense search.
OPP speciality units had assisted uniformed officers in the search for Robinson, with aerial assets deployed and many ground searchers.
Robinson is described as standing roughly five feet and three inches tall, weighing 80 pounds. She had grey hair in a bun, with a purple or orange toque and black and red plaid scarf.
She had red and green plaid fleece pants, and frequently used a walking stick.
Investigators will continue the investigation under the direction of the Office of the Chief Coroner.
They’re looking to create a timeline of events and are requesting the assistance of the public.
The victim was known to frequently walk in the area.
