Winter activities at Algonquin Park pushed back

With the warmer temperatures and rain washing away most of the snow, Algonquin Park has had to put their winter preparations on hold. Andrea Coulter is the Marketing and Communications Specialist and she explains when they’ll open their winter activities.

Coulter says people can enjoy the park’s trails, bird watching and wildlife tracking until their winter activities are open. However, there are a few things they want people to keep in mind when they’re out at this time of year.

Even though the staff did start preparing the trails last week, there is still a lot to be done before they can open up their winter activities. Coulter describes what kinds of activities people can look forward to once the season starts.
