Tsuyuki stopped short of finals at Sochi

A Torrance cottager will not go on to the women’s half-pipe finals in Sochi. Katie Tsuyuki, who also attended Rosseau Lake College qualified for the semi-finals this morning, but stopped short of the finals with a best score of 56.25. She was one of three Canadian women competing in the event. The finals happen at 12:30pm today. It was the first Olympics for the 31 year old who was born in Scarborough.
