According to a notice from the District of Muskoka, bridge repairs for the community’s lift locks bridge are scheduled for Monday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. “The District would like to advise motorists to anticipate delays on their Monday commute, especially during peak travel times,” read the notice. “The road will remain open to traffic at all times and there will be no detour, but traffic delays are expected due to single lane reductions.” The repairs are focused on the surface of the bridge, in order to prevent future inconvenience. The district thanked those affected in advance, for their patience and understanding during the work.
