GRAVENHURST, ON – The Gravenhurst Splashpad is opening ahead of schedule.
This past June the MyMuskokaNow.com newsroom reported the water feature, located at Muskoka Wharf Sports Fields would be undergoing an extensive $100,000 renovation and be closed until August 19th.
Many residents were upset use of the facility would be lost through the warmest months, but a notice this week says it will be open to the public starting tomorrow.
Work included “reconstruction of the subgrade and the maintenance and repair of surface drainage, mechanical room and water features.”
