Lake of Bays Brewing opening Bracebridge brewpub

BRACEBRIDGE, ON- A Baysville brewery is expanding to Bracebridge.

Lake of Bays Brewing announced a third location today, which will be going in at 295 Wellington Street, close to the core of the town.

According to the company, the location will be called the Bracebridge Barrelhouse, and will offer both beer brewed on-site and locally sourced pub food.

It will fit around 125 people across 4,200 square feet, over two floors. The beer lineup will feature the company’s core offerings, along with wine and cocktails.

“The Barrelhouse is the first of its kind in the area and will provide a specialized craft beer and food pairing experience for visitors,” said Darren Smith, President & CEO of Lake of Bays Brewing, in the announcement.

“The Barrelhouse will be a fun, relaxed place to get together with friends and family. Special brews made on-site will include sour, funky, and barrel-aged beers using foeders, a first for the Muskoka region.”

The brewery already has a footprint in downtown Huntsville, with the brewhouse there opening in the downtown last spring.

The original brewery opened in Baysville around the south end of Lake of Bays back in 2010, and employs over 50 people.
