GRAVENHURST, ON- A dock at the Muskoka Wharf is getting closed on Tuesday.
According to the Town of Gravenhurst, the municipal infrastructure department and Galcon Marine will be continuing their pile repair work on the Dock B landing at the wharf. This coming Tuesday, the dock will be closed to pedestrians and boat traffic for a second time while concrete is poured.
The town had completed an assessment of the docks in June of this year with Tatham Engineering that found more advanced corrosion than they had expected, which prompted the repairs. The work on Tuesday will start at 7:00 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m.
Anyone planning on using the Muskoka Wharf at that time should keep the closure in mind.
