O.P.P. looking for answers after hiker finds a bag containing a human organ

NORTH KAWARTHA TOWNSHIP, ON – The police are trying to understand how human body parts ended up in an Ontario creek.

Peterborough County O.P.P. has launched an investigation after a hiker stumbled onto a bag containing human placenta in it.

According to the police, the hiker was traveling along Eels Creek in North Kawartha when they stumbled onto a bag floating in the creek.

Police attended the scene and took the bag to the local hospital where the organ was determined to be placenta from a human.

Although this is an odd discovery to make, the O.P.P. does not believe this is the result of foul play.

Police are looking for the origins of this placenta and are asking anyone with information to contact the Peterborough County OPP Crime Unit at 705 742-0401 or 1-888-310-1122.
