BURKS FALLS, ON- Heavy weather could pass through Burks Falls and Algonquin today.
According to Environment Canada, conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing wind gusts up to 90 km/h and torrential rain throughout those area.
These storms will likely develop this afternoon and evening.
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
