GRAVENHURST, ON  – In a bid to engage young people in civic-minded activities the Town of Gravenhurst is seeking new members to its Youth Council.

“The Town of Gravenhurst is seeking passionate individuals interested in advocating and addressing the issues that impact youth in the community for appointment to the Gravenhurst Youth Council for one school term,” read a release from the town.

The school term runs from this September to June 2020.

Youth interested in participating must be between 12 and 30 years of age, a Canadian citizen, and a resident Gravenhurst. Applicants may not be an employee of the town or the Gravenhurst Public library.
