HUNTSVILLE, ON – A pair of emergency services are on scene contending with what is described as a gas spill.
O.P.P. Central Region confirmed on Twitter that O.P.P. officers are assisting the fire department with some kind of gas leak at the Canadian Tire in Huntsville.
News first broke around 1:00 pm that the customers of Canadian Tire were being evacuated as a precaution while the firefighters deal with the gas.
According to the O.P.P., drivers can expect delays in the King William Street and Highway 60 area but emergency services are asking that you avoid the area if you can.
Reports from the area suggest the spill is being cleared up.
