OPP looking for youth who pay it forward
OPP officers are keeping an eye out for young people who do good deeds in our community. The OPP is continuing its partnership with Mac’s Convenience Stores across Ontario for Operation Heat 2014 – a program that rewards children who demonstrate positive actions, behaviour and acts of kindness. Sean Sportun, Manager of Loss Prevention & Security for Mac’s in Central Canada says operation Heat provides law enforcement with an additional tool to reward youth in a positive way. Any children seen doing a positive act in our area, will be given a ticket for a free hot chocolate by police.
