Swimming advisory in place for Jaspen Park Beach

A swimming advisory has been issued for Jaspen Park Beach.

Water samples taken by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on July 4th revealed an issue with the water quality, making it unsuitable for swimming.

While the release does not reveal the specific problem, the Township of Muskoka Lakes has issued a warning for the beach located at 1005 Pine Ridge Road, Muskoka Lakes.

Swimming lessons scheduled for Jaspen Park Beach have been moved to Hanna Park Beach in Port Carling at the regularly scheduled time.
