GRAVENHURST, ON- The boats are still coming to Gravenhurst.
That’s according to Scott Waites, director with the Antique Classic Boat Society. The group is putting on the 39th annual Vintage Boat Show at the Muskoka Wharf this weekend, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Waites indicated to the MyMuskokaNow.com newsroom that he had heard a rumour that the show was cancelled due to damage to the docks at the wharf. He acknowledged that there had been damage, but it had been repaired.
“Whatever communication that was out there pertaining to the show, it was completely wrong,” said Waites.
“It was never a hesitation with this boat show.”
