Clement travelled from Ottawa late last night to be in Huntsville for the celebrations at Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area where Howell grew up skiing.

This is the first year Slopestyle has been entered into the Olympics and Howell is the first woman to win gold at 94.20. She was joined on the podium by fellow Canadian skier Kim Lamarre of Quebec.
