Muskoka Lakes wants suggestions on how to improve flood response

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON – Local residents affected by flooding this Spring have a chance to give town officials advice on how to better respond in the future.

Muskoka Lakes administration is launching a survey both online and hard copies are also available. The point is to get suggestions on how to improve emergency planning and response.

The town said in a release they also want to get a better idea of how many people were affected and to what degree.

The survey is available on the town’s website, or physical copies can be picked up at the Port Carling township office or the Muskoka Lakes Chamber of Commerce office in Bala. All hard copies have to be submitted to the township office in Port Carling.
