Road closure in Bracebridge related to Raptors game six

The Town of Bracebridge is advising of a road closure on tomorrow.

Chub Downey Lane, next to the Memorial Arena, is going to be closed to local traffic from 7:00am to 4:00pm as video equipment is loaded in for Game Six of the NBA finals.

With wet weather projected tomorrow night, the town and the Griffin Gastro Pub have moved the viewing party inside.

“Given the weather forecast for this week, we felt it was safer to host Game 6 undercover and we were able to secure the Bracebridge Arena on short notice. We’re really pumped about this series and the excitement that it has brought to the entire country,” said Jed Corbeil, co-owner of The Griffin GastroPub.
