Radiator issue prompts vehicle fire response in Bracebridge

BRACEBRIDGE, ON- A problem with a radiator scrambled the Bracebridge fire service today.

The service indicated that around 2:00 p.m., a passerby called in about a smoking vehicle in the parking lot of the Rona in Bracebridge’s downtown.

When firefighters arrived, they found a white minivan with radiator fluid leaking onto the hot engine block, causing smoke. After sorting out the issue, they left a note for the driver on the vehicle’s front seat.

Police will now track down the owner of the vehicle to alert them to what happened.

There were no injuries from the incident.
