Sudbury man killed in fiery crash in Archipelago Township

ARCHIPELAGO TOWNSHIP, ON- The identity of the driver killed in Friday’s crash along Highway 69 has been released by police.
According to the West Parry Sound detachment of the OPP, the crash took place just after 8:00 p.m. near Flicker Road, along the highway.
A single tractor trailer had hit a rock cut and caught on fire. Police, fire, and ambulance services responded to the scene, and the route was closed during the investigation into the crash.
The OPP now say that the driver, 31 year old Johnathon Collins of Sudbury, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries reported from the incident.
Police are asking drivers to slow down and drive safe.
