BRACEBRIDGE, ON – Commuters travelling through Bracebridge might need to take a detour over the next month.
The Queen Street Bridge between Entrance Drive and Shier Street will be closed for rehabilitation starting Monday, June 3.
Work being done includes replacing expansion joints, repairing curbs and installing barrier anchorage, railing and posts.
Driveway access along Queen Street and Shier Street may be restricted temporarily and parking will be prohibited on the streets during construction. Any affected residents will be notified.
The town said in a release that it will attempt to minimized inconveniences like dust and noise from heavy equipment.
