Parts of Muskoka and Parry Sound still under a snow squall warning

We’re going to continue to see heavy snow today as the snow squall warning continues. Warning Preparedness Meteorologist with Environment Canada Geoff Coulson says the snowfall will continue to be localized.

Coulson says the weather will begin to taper off tomorrow, but we should expect on and off flurries over the weekend and into early next week. Meanwhile, Environment Canada is also warning us to be prepared for winter road conditions. Coulson says you should get your winter tires on if you haven’t already.

Coulson says the snow squalls shouldn’t last as conditions will taper off tomorrow.
