Volunteer Coffee Crew buys much needed equipment

Muskoka Algonquin Health Care is praising its volunteers.

The Muskoka Mocha coffee bar at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge has bought the hospital some important equipment from the tips made selling hot beverages.

The SMMH Auxiliary has purchased a new, mobile OptiFlow that delivers high-flow oxygen with humidity to inpatients in a comfortable way.

MAHC’s Allyson Snelling says such donations are extremely important.

“New equipment is only possible through donors and fundraising by hospital foundations and auxiliaries,” she says.
