Residents are reminded to roll up their vehicle windows and lock their doors.

Between 10:00pm and 3:00am on January 19th, West Parry Sound OPP responded to six different homes in the Town of Parry Sound on Wood Street, Waubeek Street, and Belvedere Avenue.

Police say each victim reported a similar story that someone had gone into their unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it with loose change stolen from several of the vehicles as well as electronic devices.

The vehicles on the street that were locked were not broken into and police remind everyone to roll up their vehicle windows, keep valuables out of sight, lock their doors, and pocket their keys even when parked in your own driveway.
