Your water may be looking cloudy and slightly discoloured for the next couple of months.
The District of Muskoka is beginning its water main and hydrant flushing routine starting from today to June 28th.
“While the water is safe, the flushing could result in cloudy or coloured water which will clear if a cold water tap is run for a short time,” advises a statement on the District website.
It is recommended that prior to using any water from the tap that residents check it for rust each day. If you do not run taps for a moment things like laundry could be affected with discoloration of clothes.
