OPP asking business owners to protect their property

The Huntsville OPP is hoping local business owners will do what they can to keep their stores safe. Constable Lynda Cranney says over the last few weeks they have investigated several break-in involving businesses.

Cranney says they hope business will take the time to secure their property by following some simple steps.

The goal for these recent break-ins at the local businesses was to take big ticket items. Cranney says this isn’t just a lesson for business owners, but for all residents in Huntsville.

Cranney also says if you ever see anything suspicious happening in and around a business or home near you, call the detachment or Crime Stoppers if you want to be anonymous.
