Parry Sound-Muskoka dimming the lights for Earth Hour

It’s Earth Hour this weekend and towns around Muskoka are participating.

It takes place Saturday night starting at 8:30pm. Huntsville and Bracebridge will be turning off non-essential lights and office equipment at their facilities.

Parry Sound’s offices are closed on Saturday night, but the staff is being encouraged to participate at home.

Earth Hour started in Sydney, Australia in 2007.
