Zoning request by developer withdrawn

A developer has withdrawn his rezoning application for a property on Anglo Street.

At last night’s Bracebridge Council meeting it was revealed in the minutes that the application by Goodfellow Construction had been withdrawn. The house being built at 200 Anglo Street is currently zoned residential, but the builder was hoping to change it to commercial.

The intent was to use the completed home as a temporary sales and construction office in support of condo and town units being built on the street.

An open letter to council by 15 property owners on the street asked for Council to deny the application to temporarily convert the zoning of the property from residential to commercial.
