Ontario is investing millions to help improve local infrastructure

There are 426 municipalities in Ontario including Huntsville, Lake of Bays and parts of Almaguin are getting funding from the province. The Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund will provide $100-million annually to help modernize things like our roads and bridges. Half of the money will be given on a formula based system while the other half is available through an application-based process.

Burk’s Falls: $27,800
Joly: $25,000
Kearney: $25,000
Machar: $25,000
Magnetawan: $25,000
McMurrich-Monteith: $25,000
Perry: $25,000
Ryerson: $25,000
South River: $25,000
Strong: $25,000
Sundridge: $25,000
