Gravenhurst is putting a reduced load order into place.
From March 22nd to May 31st the town is calling for a weight limit of 5 tonnes per axle on roads maintained by the town.
Load limits are put into place annually typically running from early March to Mid-May to prevent damage to roads during the spring thaw.
If conditions change quickly the dates can be moved.
Once the pavement strength is restored, restrictions are removed.
