Scott Young leaving municipal politics

Outgoing Deputy District Chair and four-term District Councillor, Scott Young has announced he will not be seeking the office of Muskoka District Chair. Young says he’s given the Chair serious consideration and has decided to invest energy in other aspects of his career. The decision ends Young’s 14-year stretch as a Muskoka District Councillor for Bracebridge. Young adds that council was a great experience and he’s going to miss it
