News You can weigh in on the Ford Government’s regional review in Muskoka SHARE ON: James Bowler, contributor, Thursday Mar. 14th, 2019 Photo of Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller (centre, contributed) You can weigh in on the Ford Government’s review of the District of Muskoka. MPP Norm Miller is inviting residents to take the online survey currently available to anyone that wants to have their say on this process. Miller says this is a great opportunity for you to tell the province how the current local government is working for you. “I encourage anyone who is interested in this review to share their ideas and concerns.” Survey comments will be accepted up until April 23rd. Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Steve Clark says the feedback will play a big role in the review process. “I look forward to receiving the recommendations and hearing what is working in the regions and what can be improved,” says Clark. “We promised the people of Ontario that all levels of government would work harder, smarter and more efficiently.” There’s still no word on how exactly this review will impact the current structure of the District of Muskoka council. You can take the survey here.
