Beaver Creek lockdown ends after 10 days

A lockdown at Beaver Creek institution has ended after 10 days.
Correctional Service Canada reports a number of contraband items were found during the search. The lockdown began on February 22nd.
CSC says it is strengthening its operations to better prevent the entry of contraband in order to provide a safe environment for both guards and inmates.
Visits to the prison have resumed.
