Recipients announced for 13th Annual Women of Distinction Awards

The 13^th Annual Women of Distinction awards. Nominees were invited from all over Muskoka to the Bracebridge Sportsplex and Rene Caisse Theatre last night for dinner, drinks and a special awards ceremony. The nominees selected were celebrated for their volunteer efforts in our community. This year’s award winners’ include:

1. Hailey Scott, 2014 Young Woman of Distinction.
2. Wendy Donabie, Woman of Distinction in the Arts, Culture and Creative Energy.
3. Arden McGregor, 2014 Woman of Distinction in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
4. Debbie Kirwin, 2014 Woman of Distinction in Community Development and Social Activism.
5. Cheryl Dove, 2014 Woman of Distinction in Health, Sports and Wellness.
6. JoAnn Jordan, 2014 Woman of Distinction in Mentorship.
7. Barbara Power, 2014 Woman of Distinction in Lifetime Achievement.
