A Port Sydney man is facing an aggravated assault charge.
The Huntsville OPP says officers were called to Muskoka Road 10 in Port Sydney on Friday just before 2:00am because of a fight.
The victim, a 61-year-old man from Moosonee, had wandered off from the scene but police say they were quickly able to find him. He was taken to Huntsville District Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The other man involved in the fight, 62-year-old George Butcher, was arrested. He’s scheduled to appear in court in Huntsville on April 3rd.
