Fran Coleman honoured with community room

A longtime Huntsville District councillor has been honoured with her own community room. Fran Coleman was praised recently at the Pines long-term care facility in Bracebridge. They named the Pines Community Room there after Coleman because of her determination in fighting homelessness and championing attainable housing, childcare and housing for seniors. Called a thoughtful, dedicated and compassionate person, she also lobbied hard for funding to build McVittie Place, the new Pines, and it’s addition, the Pines Support Building.
