If you have a great idea for a new Muskoka-based business and need some startup capital the clock is ticking.
This Friday is the deadline for applications for the Dragons’ Den-style competition called the Founders Choice Awards.
The grand prize is $15,000 and the second prize $5,000.
“We were so impressed with the calibre of all the 2018 finalists that the Founders decided to double the awards and prize money for 2019,” said Executive Chair Rick Dalmazzi. “We’re pleased with the response we’ve had to the Founders Choice Award program, and our growing group of Founders anticipates kicking off new initiatives in 2019.”
Business owners from around Muskoka and Parry Sound have contributed the prize money for this contest in hopes of nurturing new companies.
Award winners will be announced at the Impact Awards being held on April 11th at the JW Marriot in Minett.
