A snow squall warning is in effect for Parry Sound and Muskoka.

Near blizzard conditions are expected to develop this afternoon.

Temperatures will drop quickly to a low of minus 11 by tonight. Squalls will develop and combine with the wind warning already in place, with gusts from 90 to 110 km/h, likely causing zero visibility.

Snowfall amounts will run from five to 15 cm through tomorrow morning.

Environment Canada says road closures are possible and that if you are travelling having an emergency kit with water, food, and a first-aid kit is advised.
