Crews will be out in Gravenhurst tonight removing snowbanks.
The work will be happening on Muskoka Road from James St. W. to Winewood Ave. W., Bay St. and Brock St. from Bethune Dr. S. (MR41) to John St., Winewood Ave. W. from Muskoka Rd. N. (MR18) to tracks, and, time permitting, Muskoka Rd. S. from James St. to Edward St.
Residents are being asked to be extremely cautious in these areas. The town says it expects snow removal to continue later this week and into next. People are being reminded that there is no parking on town roads overnight and any vehicles left on the road will be towed at the owner’s expense. Snow removal begins tonight at 11:00pm and wraps up at 8:00am.
