Police still on scene of a plane crash in Algonquin Park

The investigation continues after a small plane went down in Algonquin Park and two men died. Last contact with the pilot was around 8:30pm, yesterday, when he declared an airborne emergency. Spokesperson for the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, Alexandre Cadieux confirmed the details. Rescue teams from CFB Trenton located the wreckage early this morning. Identities have not been released. OPP Sergeant Kristine Rae says officers are still on scene and investigation into the crash is ongoing.
