UPDATE TWO: Snow squall warning back in effect for Muskoka

The weather isn’t getting much better out there.

The northern part of Muskoka is back under a snow squall warning as well as the southern part. The warning stretches over to the Town of Parry Sound.

Environment Canada says the region is seeing multiple bands of snow squalls. Up to 20 cm of snow is possible per 12 hours in the strongest bands. The squalls are expected to move south eventually this afternoon.

The driving conditions are still hazardous.  You’re strongly advised to postpone any travel plans that aren’t absolutely necessary.
