UPDATE: Snow squall warning now in effect

UPDATE: A snow squall warning is now in effect for the Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Port Carling, and Port Severn areas.

Another round of snow squalls is expected to hit Muskoka this afternoon.

Environment Canada warns areas in South Muskoka like Bracebridge and Gravenhurst are expected to be impacted by the band of squalls moving in. Another 10 to 15 cm of snow could fall by tonight according to the weather service.

Snow squalls can hit suddenly and cut visibility on the road down to zero within minutes. If you have plans to travel this afternoon you may want to consider postponing your drive until weather conditions improve.
