Traffic along highway 11 between Huntsville and Bracebridge is slowing due to crashes and the snowy conditions.
Thanks to caller Diana – a tractor-trailer is broken down in the live right lane of Highway 11 NB – at Stephenson Rd 2. People are seeing it at the last moment – no triangles or other warnings are in place. Traffic is down to 30km per hour – recommended you put hazard lights on to make yourself more visible.
A number of incidents being reported on Highway 11 between Huntsville and Bracebridge.
On southbound highway 11 there is a transport truck on the side of the road at the overpass of Aspdin Road, then at Lindgren Road, there is 2 car accident, one car on each side.
Callers to the station are recommending that all drivers use four-way hazard lights as well as your full night time driving lights. Traffic is slowed to around 40 km per hour.
Further south on 11 in the southbound lane at Stephenson Road 8, another two-vehicle crash, with cars on both shoulders of the road.
