Reserves dangerously low at Canadian Blood Services

Canadian Blood Services needs your blood. The organization has activated the blood signal, which means reserves are dangerously low. However, Territory Manager Mary Piccioni says not everyone can donate blood.

Piccioni says this stat makes it much more important for those who can donate to do so. She says your donations go a long way to saving lives. One donation is roughly 488 millilitres, which is considered one unit.

There is going to be a blood donor clinic at Faith Baptist Church in Huntsville this afternoon. It runs from 1pm to 7pm. Territory Manager Mary Piccioni says it’s best to make an appointment.
