UPDATED: Snow squall watch extended to cover all of Muskoka

Environment Canada is warning drivers to be careful this afternoon across Muskoka.

The weather service is extending a snow squall watch to the entire district, suggesting the turbulent winter weather is likely to move in over the afternoon. Significant activity, causing zero visibility on the roads, could start around 4:00pm.

Up to 30 cm of snowfall is possible throughout the day, depending on the snow squall activity.

The MyMuskokaNow.com Newsroom is watching this storm activity carefully and will keep you updated on road conditions throughout the day. You can always get up to date road and weather conditions as well by tuning into Moose FM.
