A portion of Muskoka Road 13 (Southwood Road) in the Township of Muskoka Lakes will be
closed on Sunday, October 26th to conduct a product launch photo shoot for an upcoming
car commercial.
A District of Muskoka press release states that Muskoka is a sightseeing paradise with its abundance of open roads and that residents and visitors  alike realize that Muskoka is a sought-after destination in the autumn season and it’s the perfect time for sightseeing and photo opportunities throughout this beautiful area.
From 12:00pm – 8:00pm on Sunday the southbound lane (west side) of Muskoka Road 13 (Southwood Road) from 2 kilometers south of Muskoka Road 169 to approximately 100 meters south of the most northerly railway crossing will be closed to traffic.
The northbound lane (east side) of Muskoka Road 13 (Southbound Road) will be closed
in five (5) minute intervals every twenty (20) minutes between 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
Traffic will still be able to travel this road during this time, however delays should be expected.
