Arrowhead skating trail opens today

It doesn’t get more Canadian than this.

The skating trail at Arrowhead Park opens today, allowing people to enjoy the woods and winter scenes over a 1.3 km trail.

Skaters can enjoy the trail from 11:00am to 5:00pm today. New Year’s Eve the trail will be open from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and there will be lit Tiki torches to add to the excitement of saying goodbye to 2018.

The cost to get into the park is done by the carload, with each vehicle being charged $17 Monday to Friday, which increases to $20 on weekends.

Along with skating,  there are a variety of cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing and also a tubing hill.
