A Christmas themed ride on the Portage Flyer is available tomorrow.
From 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Muskoka Heritage Place, the historic train will be transporting riders back in time to an old-style Christmas celebration.
Rides are just $5 on the open air steam locomotive, that features thousands of lights this time of year.
Santa is waiting at the end of the 1km track and there is complimentary hot chocolate and cookies while you wait at Fairy Lake.
Each trip takes about 20 minutes and Heritage Place staff are reminding people to dress warmly for the evening.
- Date & Time: Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (last train leaves at 7:30 pm)
- Admission: $5.00 per person (child or adult) tax included. Sorry, there are no advance ticket sales or reserve seating.
- Location: Muskoka Heritage Place, Train Station, 100 Forbes Hill Drive Huntsville (beside the Active Living Centre).
- Parking: Huntsville High School, Canada Summit Centre, Active Living Centre or directly across the street from the event.
