Bracebridge’s newest gas station will likely be ready for service this coming Spring.
The proposed Shell-brand station is currently under construction on Cedar Lane across from St. Dom’s in town. Owner San Patel says they’ve got an open date in mind.
“We’re planning to open March first,” says Patel. “If everything goes well, [that’s] the deadline for them to turn over the key to me.”
The new station will feature a convenience store, a car wash and a Subway restaurant attached. The gas station will help fill the gap for residents living in the Taylor Road area, who have had to travel across town to fill their tanks.
