Baysville Curling Club helping make winter warmer

The Baysville Curling Club is making winter warmer for those in need.

Inside its doors, the club has a coat rack with a sign that says “Need a Coat Take a Coat. Have a Coat Leave a Coat.”

The idea is to provide those lacking proper winter clothing a chance to get a warm coat.

The front entrance area is open to the public 24/7, with a posting on Facebook encouraging people to “help yourself. No questions asked.”

The post also encourages those with gently used winter coats to place them on the rack.

The initiative is part of the ongoing work by the Winter Pantry in Baysville and Dorset.
